The wedge angle will vary with the parameters of the valve, usually 50 degrees. And the gate of this wedge-shaped plug-in valve can be made into a whole, generally referred to as a rigid gate; It can also be made into slightly deformed gate plates to improve its processing level and offset some angular deviations generated during the machining process, commonly known as elastic gate plates. When it is closed, the sealing surface can only seal with the pressure of the medium, which is called self sealing. Most plug-in valves use forced sealing method.
